Introduction

Students of Digital and Social Media,

As we finish up the last weeks of your semester enrolled in your course, be reassured that the syllabus presented to you at the beginning of the semester is still in play.  After finishing up Unit Three (Internet Advertising), we will be moving forward to work on your final, mastery project -- a viral video project that will allow you to put concepts learned throughout the semester into play in a positive way within the HUHS community.

The daily activities you will be participating in are based on lessons are based on those designed by Mr. Oeschner. We will be making a few modifications, based on new technologies available to us (the iPad lab!), and our own teaching styles (such as Mrs. Cowell's use of LibGuides), but grading policies and course expectations are not changing.  We'll have fun!

Thank Mr. Priegel bill.priegel@huhs.org) for helping us out the first week.

Mr. Matson (peter.matson@huhs.org) will be stepping in as the long-term sub.  Please see him regarding attendance and concerns with your gradebook records.  Mr. Matson is a certified marketing teacher and will bring invaluable insight into the classroom as we finish up the end of the semester. Mr. Matson will be assessing of your progress in mastering concepts and meeting learning targets.

Mrs. Cowell (lora.cowell@huhs.org) will continue to introduce and facilitate your final project. Please rely on her when you have questions or need additional guidance in meeting course objectives.

~Mrs. Cowell and Mr. Matson
